Felix 2026-10-26 (chat: the org chart sucks). Today, verified against current main: OrgChart.jsx = 45 lines, a FLAT list — one row per actor, indentation by repeated dash characters, each row carrying a dropdown that lists EVERY other actor as a candidate parent. No tree visuals, no expand/collapse, no drag; re-parent is admin-only, errors surface via browser alert. The data model underneath is fine (parent/ancestors/depth + server-side cycle check in org.py) — this is purely a client-tier gap.

Ranked wishlist (his to prioritize; filing, not scoping):

real tree/graph view: depth, branches, collapsed subtrees at a glance
drag-and-drop re-parenting, keeping the existing server cycle rejection
per-node context: kind (human/agent), pending approvals, key/cadence state
search + scroll once the org exceeds one screen
UI-side guardrails (disable selecting own descendant, not just reject after)
